The diagram shows the space required for siting the nursery unit. Leave sufficient space for removal of trays. Any room is suitable as long as a minimum temperature of 10ºc can be maintained. The catchment trays ensure that the floor stays clean and dry.
Piglet bed
The piglet bed consists of a rotationally moulded base and lid with foam filled insulation.
The lid is fitted with a radiant heater to provide a comfortable creep environment. Each piglet has a place to put its nose orhead through the curtain as it feels comfortable, to breathe cool fresh air.
Nursery milk feeder
This precision liquid feeding unit is effective in rearing piglets from large litters or orphaned piglets from a few days old.
