Economic and robust drainage systems...
Central Flush:
The custom-made T-fittings and connecting pipes are laid below the slurry channel in the floor. The T-fittings come in two different diameters which ensures there is equal pressure throughout the system. The slurryflow is controlled by a sliding valve at the end of the pipe.
Separate Flush:
The system comprises a number of T-fittings, one ofwhich is bedded in the concrete under the dunging area of each pig pen. The T-fittings are connected to each other by PVC pipes which carry the slurry to a reception pit. Each T-fitting comes complete with a stopper which provides a water-tight seal.

Design:
The hard PVC pipes are supplied in 5 metre lengths, with an adhesive socket closure on one end. The pipes are smooth on the inside to provide a satifactory drainage flow. On the outside the rough, ribbed profiling ensures good adheshion to the concrete flooring. The drainage holes are sealed with plastic strip to prevent dirt getting into the pipes during installation. Once the pipes are in place the strip is removed.
Laying:
The laying of the pipes is very simple, with only a slight gradient (1cm in 10m) in the concrete flooring. A control shaft should be installed at every 10m.
