Heat Recovery
With ever rising energy costs and pressure on all businesses to reduce CO2 emissions, heat recovery has become a serious consideration for pig farmers. We can install systems which are highly efficient at recovering and recycling excess heat.
Recovering heat generated from larger pigs can be used to provide heat for nursery and weaner accommodation. We can install heat exchangers which can warm water to be used in heat pads in the farrowing house with a consequent saving in energy.
Surplus heat harvested can also be used to heat farm offices or provide warm water for the showers.
