Platform Weigher

The Platform Weigher makes regular weighing easier for pigs and stockpeople, with no need to recess the scale into the floor.

Its 2 cm access height provides easy entry and exit, while the non-slip aluminium floor gives pigs a secure surface underfoot. The floor also provides a durable, easy-clean surface for everyday use in pig buildings.

The scale can support routine growth monitoring, individual or group weighing, sorting and checks before sale or transfer.

Useful features include:

• Animal weighing programme for stable readings with moving pigs
• Automatic taring
• Colour display for sorting pigs into set weight ranges
• Double-leaf gates that open inwards or outwards
• Foot-pedal release for the opposite gate
• USB connection with memory functions
• Mains or battery operation

A range of widths and lengths is available to suit different buildings. An optional chassis and wheel system can also allow the scale to move along the aisle when required.
